I love a Marco book, and we get some pretty decent Marco character development here as Marco is dealing with some...shit.  Tobias is also very good in this one and Jake shows some authentic leadership qualities.  There are some very HopePunk themes here as Marco ends up choosing to be hopeful despite everything looking pretty bleak.  Hope is punk, Marco.  This is a very nice bounce-back after the last book which was pretty...meh.

This one was interesting - I was happy to see another encounter with Visser One, but the psychic aliens were really confusing. The rules around their psychicness and whether or not the Animorphs cared seemed to vary wildly throughout the book.

Oh wow

Animorphs was a good series that kept me reading. Enjoyed these as a kid.
