I like that the couple actually talks honestly about their feelings and needs in this series. Not much happens other than seeing the slow evolution of the relationship, but it's an enjoyable quick read.

for some reason I kinda imagine Hananai Kun as the anime boyfriend version of Jungkook!

Another volume of the series down, and I am definitely a Hotaru x Hananoi shipper. Yes, they still got some kinks with Hotaru and Hananoi needing to communicate a little better, but nothing so drastic.
I like that Hotaru was the one to notice that she always changes the subject when the topic gets a little too close to her and her past. And Hananoi hides his loneliness behind a wall of uncaring attitude. I love that we got a small date between the two and a small jealousy from Hotaru when her work senpai wanted to meet Hananoi (luckily, no romance was involved!). Even moments of Hananoi opening up to Hotaru about how happy he's been thanks to her (the little moment of Hotaru telling Hananoi that dating is fun, and Hananoi remember the hurtful comments from previous partners).
A nice addition to the series, and I'm looking forward to more growth between the two.
