There's not really much to say. It's nice and cute. Looking forward to reading the other novellas and Love On The Brain because I can't get enough.

It was cute, but I feel like it was almost the same story as the other novella.

The book was short and sweet. It's very love at first sight based since the romance is basically 24 hours
and some of the 24 hours was just sex
. But there's alot of cute moments , I'm starting to feel like the author has a thing for the super tall guy with kinda short/super short girl trope.

My only problem with the book is that Sadie mentions the guy being Danish like a trillion times and in almost every single compliment about him like does the author have a fetish for Nordic people or something? Because you'd really think so after reading.
plus there's a point near the end where it's implied Erik cummed on Sadie's bra that she left at his place...when they'd only known each other for 24 hours,  she's okay wit it in the book but it's still weird to do that , especially when he assumed the problem was the sex for 3 weeks

The progression of this just did not make any sense to me… I don’t think the plot for this one works too well as a novella, or it just felt wholly unresolved (like the epilogue felt unnecessary since it didn’t add anything to the end of the novella). I also did not enjoy the whole miscommunication thing… like why?! It felt entirely avoidable, but of course jumping to a conclusion is a much better idea… Still worth a read if you really like Ali Hazelwood (I still have The Love Hypothesis withdrawals), but keep your expectations realistic (aka you won’t be getting The Love Hypothesis).

The perfect quick read after a slow book that took me 3 weeks to finish. I really like the writing style of Ali Hazelwood. Her descriptions are so on-point. and the sex scenes are steamy. Also: consent!
I'm looking forward to the 3rd novella.

Sadie and. Eric are two engineers stuck in their building’s a NYC elevator. There’s history there…Sadie holds a grudge and Eric seems abashed. What’s going on? We find out their whole story in flash backs. This emotional roller coaster was quite steamy.
