I don't get it. I just don't get it. These pieces are all very very short (fairly expected, given they're flash fiction)--but they throw you from story to story, so you never have the chance to find your ground and have some basis for comprehension. Basically the 'book' consists of the endings of fairy tales--and ONLY the endings, there's no other content--which have been rewritten, and are actually less 'twisted' than the originals.

Super fast read but I love fairy tale retellings and these were dark and great! So easy to tell what the original story was.

Four stars because I wanted this book to be longer!! The fairy tales are all intertwined and I loved this aspect of the story, plus... Gosh, they were extraordinarily well written and re-imagined. Hope there will be a sequel to this one!
