I received a free copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the ending of Dallas and Jane's story and I was on the edge of my seat until the end. Very well written. Very suspenseful. I loved this series.

The book picked up from the previous books without missing a beat. The sizzle was spot on like normal.

I can't wait to see what will be next from Ms. Kenner.

This book was a lot better than the previous ones in the series. But that just might be because it all ends and everything's wrapped up with a pretty bow. I have to admit this series wasn't my favorite of J. Kenner's. While it was good and captivating, the whole mystery aspect of it just wasn't for me. Not to mention all the brother/sister talk. I know they aren't siblings by blood, but the fact that even after they became a couple they still refer to each other as such, even in private, sort of wigged me out. So I mean if your into that kind of thing, sure go for it, but for me it wasn't my cup of tea.

This is the conclusion to the S.I.N. Trilogy and I believe it will be what fan of this author is expecting. I like that we got to see some of the other characters from the Stark Series in this final installment. It is full of suspense, intrigue, lies, deceit, romance, steamy scenes that we come to expect from this author and a love between to people that is so well written it jumps off the page. The mystery surrounding Jane and Dallas' past will finally be revealed and the reader will be rooting for this couple to find their own happily ever after.

I received an ARC from the publisher through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This did not influence my opinion and the thoughts expressed are my own.

The third book wrapped things up okay, and the villain/Woman was who I thought it was.

This story was intense, emotional, and captivating. I was immediately pulled back in and on the edge of my seat. Great conclusion to the series!

I have been consumed by the SIN series from the beginning and completely fascinated by Dallas and Jane so I was excited to dive into Sweetest Taboo. These characters have an all consuming connection and passion. There is so much conflict and drama as Dallas and Jane navigate their way through their relationship and all the obstacles before them. There were so many outside pressures compounding in on them and I loved how they seek each other out as their safe place. It's extremely heated and passionate (these two don't lack chemistry that's for sure).

I had so much anticipation while reading because I wanted answers and to see if some of my predictions were correct. I would get so excited every time a new dot was connected and couldn't wait for Dallas and Jane to see it too. I can't say more without spoiling it but it had a very intense, raw and emotional vibe to me and I am extremely happy with the conclusion and how the storyline and their relationship played out.

I thought the story itself was very fast paced and I flew through it. It did feel a bit rushed at times and treaded into telling not showing territory. It was still a great conclusion to the trilogy but I felt like I was missing the details and depth that was in the two previous stories even though I was getting answers.

Loved the drama at the end, that was awesome. Intense right to the very end... intense was the theme for me throughout the book. Loved all the twists and turns, some predictable, some not. I am thrilled that Dallas and Jane got their happily ever after.

Complimentary copy received for honest review.

I'm shelving this book for now. Maybe one day I'll go back to finish it but, right now I'm really struggling with not wanting to finish it. Especially since I've put it aside for a few days & I have no desire to want to return to it. It may be too taboo for me. I'm having a wicked hard time getting past how Dallas calls his adoptive sister 'sister' when talking to her or about her to others, even though their in love with each other. I also don't like how Jane calls Dallas her brother (even though they're not blood related but, they grew up as adoptive siblings so they're siblings). I also can't stand how Jane calls her adoptive father daddy (I still consider him her dad because he raised her & her sperm donor of a father is a real asshole) when talking to him & about him to Dallas. J. Kenner has been one of my go to favorite authors. Her Stark trilogy is one of my favorite book series. Lately though, with her last few series I haven't been able to get through or just barely got through.
