This was a beautifully heartwarming friends-to-lovers story mixed with a second chance. I loved the gradual deepening of feelings between Payne and Beau, their dynamic was so sweet and heartfelt to see.
I was so surprised by Roommate Arrangement, I did not know what to expect with this story but I was completely in awe of the beautiful progression of Beau and Payne's slow-burn relationship that blossomed during one of the most emotionally difficult aspects of Payne's life and his heart is shattered as a result of the ultimate betrayal.
Due to Payne's emotional state, he is taken completely by surprise by the quirky, adorkable, and complete sweetness of Beau who has been secretly in love with him for over twenty years. Seeing their friendship grow in their trust for each other was my favorite aspect of Roommate Arrangement.
Overall I loved this sweet romance that proves there are second chances at love that was so moving and leaves me anxiously waiting to read the next installment.

the beginning was sad but it led to fate. they are so perfect for eachother. it took time, patience, healing, and realization but they got there. the ending was cute. beau’s personality is a lot but payne loved and accepted it.

This romance just did not work for me. It was way way way to unsure, for way too long, almost right up until the end. You still get the ridiculous humor and second hand embarrassment you would expect from SJ book, and it was light enough, but really i could not get onboard with the relationship itself. It didn't give me the good vibes. the way he kept saying he would go back to his ex was just yuck so yeah this was a miss for me
Story: 3/5 - enjoyed the cute bonding moments, but couldn't feel connected to the characters. Liked how they engulfed each other in their routines, hated how the jealousy as a driver trope was used. And although I'm nowhere near their ages, I did feel at times that maybe 35+ y/o don't usually act like that (though I could be wrong).
And why are the men of the Divorced club text like some immature YA would? *looks away in awkwardness* That irked me the most in the story. Hence why I won't be picking up any other books in the series.
Audio: 4/5 Amazing job done by Nick J Russo. If I'm being honest, I might have DNF'd if I were reading it. The narration was wonderful enough to keep me engaged and invested.

3.5 Stars ~ this was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it. Of course, I always adore an awkward nerd, and Beau definitely fits that bill.
