Por incrível que pareça adorei a história, o reencontro após 20 anos, a relação engraçada entre eles, e todo o plano para o futuro. Tudo da certo no final ótimo

Roommate Arrangement is slow burn, roommates/forced proximity romance that develops sweetly and naturally. Payne and Beau have been in each other’s lives since childhood but as Payne is 4 years older he’s only seen Beau as his younger brother’s quirky friend. Living with him once he returns to his hometown allows him to see Beau in a deeper way, loving all the quirks Beau is so self conscious about.
While the details of Payne’s betrayal could make this a very heavy and angsty book, Saxon manages to keep it light and fun while not simply brushing over the pain and betrayal our MC is feeling. Beau is a delightful hot mess but I do wonder at times how he managed to survive to 36 years old lol
I really enjoy that this book is about older men, as the romance genre is heavy on college age/mid-twenties so it’s refreshing for something different. I am looking forward to reading a whole new series about finding love after divorce. Divorce is not a dirty word! Divorce doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a second chance at love. Something that is mentioned in Saxon’s prequel and this book too. The men of the DMC are funny and have all found their way to the group in different ways and I’m interested in how that will impact their response to love in their respective books.
I received an ARC for a fair and honest review.

A great connection between the two characters and the relationship between them helps build a gateway to the following books in the series. With moments of sexual interaction to the sweet moments between the two.
