This was so adorable! I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of Payne and Beau. This is my third read and I still love them as much as I did the first time.

I loved their relationship from the beginning, even before anything happened. Payne was instantly protective of Beau and always offered him reassurance that nothing was wrong with him. Beau was awkward but in a cute way. I loved how he would get lost in his own world when writing, and how after encouragement from Payne, started to have more confidence in himself.

You could feel the tension between the two MCs, and when they finally gave in, it was hot!

The DMC chats always made me laugh. I love this group and will always be back for a revisit!

This was an awesome read, what with Saxon James taking a much-loved and often used romance trope--falling for your best friend's sibling--and giving it a spin of her own. Payne and Beau were wonderful main characters who were unique and easy to love, each one distinct in his own right. I quite liked Beau's quirks and I swooned over Payne's unquestioning acceptance of said quirks. While Beau was best friends with Marty, Payne's younger brother, he and Payne were able to forge their own friendship, even as they were trying to figure out whether or not to pursue something beyond that. Speaking of Marty, bonus points to him for being the supportive brother and best friend that he was. There wasn't any unnecessary drama from anyone in the story, not even Payne's ex, but there was a bite of angst concerning Beau's insecurities and Payne's belief that he couldn't offer much of anything to Beau. From start to finish, I enjoyed the journey that Payne and Beau were on and can't wait for more from this series. Five stars for Roommate Arrangement.

Reading Forgotten Romance made me remember how much I loved Beau and Payne's story from book one of the DMC series, Roommate Arrangement.

Payne leaves his husband after he learns of a multi year long affair(s) & [redacted!] - going home to his hometown to start over and pick his wounds seems like the best idea. Get as far away from Kyle as you can!

Beau is a writer and has been in love with his best friend's brother, Payne, for over twenty years. But don't feel sorry for him, it is what it is.

With Payne needing a room to stay in, and Beau needing someone to help him with innumerable things - it seemed like being roommates would be the answer for both of them.

What neither mc's were expecting was the comradery and the chemistry. Secrets get shared, quirks get identified, and we experience so many little moments that build up to an explosive *winky face* situation.

Neither thinks they're good enough for the other, but Beau has one thing on his side. He loves Payne. Unconditionally. Through everything and anything. Payne just needs to catch up.

This story is incredible. It's a book for all the unrequited loves out there. Sometimes, it works out.

I absolutely recommend this story & this series. Out of all six books, Beau and Payne's story is my favorite. It's giving... Persuasion. It's giving PINING. It's giving EVERYTHING.
