It’s a long read to me despite the length of this book. Didn’t meet my expectations, intriguing plot but the writing gets draggy at times.

This was a nice quick read. From the small summary located in the back of the book, I thought that this would center around how the young woman (which is the main character of the book) would react as a result from translating the story herself and how it would effect the entire storyline. However, that is not how the book went. There was also a part of the book that deals with incest which I thought was a little nasty. Although these parts are thoroughly explained, it suggests that these acts of incest was excusable. The ending was reflective and philosophical which made it difficult to understand yet the writing style was almost calming and light. I would not skip out on this book though.
