This is a great addition to the series. The banter back and forth between Odd and the bad guy was pretty hilarious. If you haven't read these books you're really missing out.

As much as I love the Odd Thomas series, this was lacking. There was little suspense, especially compared to the other books in the series. I suppose it was meant to set up later events in the series, but as I was approaching the end, I found myself thinking, is this really all there is to this one? It ended so fast, and there weren't really any points where I wasn't sure Odd would triumph. All in all a pretty alright read (and extremely quick) but disappointing.

This book was so different from the first 3. The writing was so much more drawn out and wordy & the dialogue was much worse. Odd’s powers weren’t used at all &
Annamaria’s supernatural elements are never explained.
The build up to the conflict was so slow and the pay off was just
Odd pulling a gun on everyone.
very disappointed

I love Odd. Some of Koontz' newer books don't thrill me as much but this series is fantastic!

Well, I do really like Koontz and his books and I did really like the first books about Odd and to follow his life. Its just that I don´t really like the writing in this one, and the story is just weird and a complete train wreck. To many page fillers and stuff that sidetrack the story and don´t makes any sense in the end.
