Interesting. I wish the good marriage story was longer however vs the 1922 that was also part of the book.

It was okay. Not amazing, but okay. The book consists of two stories: A good marriage and 1922. 1922 was far too long in my opinion. But overall it was an alright book.

I was expecting more suspense. A cat-and-mouse or blackmail-type situation between the husband and wife. That wasn't what we got, so I'm a bit disappointed. As always, King knows his subjects. He can write the horrific and disturbing well, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

This was good! At one point I had to put it down because I didn't think I could read it at night. King has such a way of writing that I was getting tense and scared over what would happen next. I finally picked it back up a few days later... in the daylight .. and devoured it.
