This was a ride. What the fuck is happening.
What I appreciate the most is that Neil in his head teases at backstory but then we don't have to wait the whole book for the reveal. Chapter 1 he just goes "yea my dad took a guy apart in front of me" and then the rest of the book he just reveals a fuckload of other stuff in every chapter. I didn't feel strung along and that was great.
Reading this fell a bit into a reading slump so I didn't appreciate it the way i should have (i think this would hit best when read in one or two days) but I already have the second book out from the library and I'm very excited.

La nota seria más un 4.5 pero no existe.
Me ha gustado mucho es un libro que engancha muy rápidamente, desde el fichaje de Neil supe que me gustaría el libro.
Personalmente disfruto de los libros que inician la trama de forma rápida y no están introduciendo todo durante muchos capítulos los personajes o el universo en si.
Los personajes del grupo de Andrew me gustan mucho y me despiertan mucha curiosidad hay muchas capas y no son personajes planos para nada.
Neil es un protagonista que me gusta bastante se ve como debate todo el rato entre quien es realmente y ese personaje que adopta con el nombre de Neil, también me parece divertido lo bocazas que es.
Con la advertencia me esperaba que las escenas fueran un poco más fuertes pero no.
Tengo muchas expectativas en el siguiente libro.

Although the pacing at the start was too slow for me I loved how the pace picked up from pages 100 onwards. The suspense was amazing and I cannot wait to read the sequel. Wish the world building was a little more detailed but every character is so intriguing and unique. An enjoyable and easygoing read. Lmao and also in hindsight this book is ridiculous (like the game is invented by the Japanese mafia) but I still love it and it is my comfort read.
