What a fun ride! I love it when a story keeps me guessing, and this one certainly did. A great combination of mystery, science fiction, and thriller. It had me thinking about all the roads not taken. Thanks to the publishers for a preview!

An emotional rollercoaster. Dark matter has everything: a compelling theme, an excellent plot and suspenseful languages. I personally doesn't like incomplete sentences for special effects (Zusak's The Messenger), but I have no complains.
The sci-fi behind the story has been popularized somewhat by mass media (i.e, Marvel), but I believe the theme truly makes Dark matter. I, myself, often "wondered what their life might look like at the end of the road not taken" and I found this beautiful quotes:
"Maybe I can let go of the sting and resentment of the path not taken, because the path not taken isn't just the inverse of who I am. It's an infinitely branching system"

Love, love this book and probably will read Repercussion by the end of 2020.

i get the hype. i wish i actually read this in one sitting because holy! the premise slayed. the ending was kind of expected, but welcomed. i loved the experience of this book.
