This was surprisingly relatable for me to read, even though I am not a mother nor wife. Nightbitch is a character i think many women can relate to, and I felt her anger deeply.

Her experiences as a mother and wife were so gratifying to read, and I enjoyed every second. I highly recommend. The author did an impeccable job at balancing humour with the dark and emotional.

Anyone who is strongly against graphic depictions of animal abuse/death should absolutely not read this book.
