Shit, yes.
Slow beginning but hang tight and the end + epilogue? Prepare yourself 🤯

The whole time I was trying to predict the twist and definitely thought it had something to do with Tim. But MAGGIE BEING INVOLVED really got me. Brooke certainly should stop ignoring her gut feelings. And once again, many crisis could be averted if people just communicated.

The book started out strong. I enjoyed the set up and the characters to begin with but as the book went along I just got bored with the repetitiveness of it all.
First it's this guy, no it's that guy, actually it's both of them, actually you're wrong again. It just got too much.
Sometimes not having 5 plot twists is okay McFadden. Overall it was okay, definitely a good no brainer book to read after Jurrassic Park.

I liked the past timeline when they were teenagers but the present day story kinda sucked. And I didn’t like the characters.

I found that at first I couldn’t put this down but kinda hit a wall halfway through. The ending… well I thought I predicted it but I did not. Kinda. I had a feeling Margie was a bit sketchy especially when the car disappeared. As soon as I saw Josh’s narrative at the end I knew something was brewing…
The last 100 pages or so had my heart racing to find out the truth.
