This was exactly what I needed when I was struggling on what to pick up next.
It was light on the worldbuilding but it's easy enough to imagine a generic DnD setting. There are definitely some mysterious bits left unanswered which I am hoping means there is more to come.

It was a lovely queer romp of found family and imagining a life after the DnD campaigns filled with danger and hardship. Would absolutely read again! The characters were fleshed out and sweet, and the story was a very cozy read. I want like 15 more books like this!
