Michael and Francesca felt like equals instead of having a huge power dynamic so that was good
leaned a little too heavily in the colonial aspect of britain which made it a hard read for me personally. the romance felt a bit unbelievable and weird considering she kept referring to him as her cousin in the beginning. the smut was good tho

As always the Bridgerton series is an easy and enjoyable read. This book however was a bit too simple. The complications building towards the relationship took too long to solve. It was too much focus on the guilt, after a while i got a bit annoyed by it. Furthermore, i didnt really enjoy the courting.

I mean I liked it, but this was the hardest one for me to get into. My favorite part of the whole book was the epilogue and I don’t feel like that’s the best sign. 6 down/ 2 to go.
