This was a good novella with an interesting story, good characters and great steam. I loved the friendship with Finn and vox was super hot. I also liked the subtle nods to Alice in wonderland without it taking away from the originality of this one. The reason this is not rated higher is that I wasn’t keen on the FMC, she seemed to get stronger by the end of the book but she was very weak at the start. I also found parts of it to be very cliche, I did enjoy it but not sure if it’s gripped me enough to continue the series
