Have you ever forgotten about a book as you were reading it? This felt more like someone's writing exercise than an actual published book.

Didn't finish

I'm sorry but I can't finish this book. I find the events and some of the writing to be too much cringe. I'll try on the next book in the series hopefully she gets better with practice.

sometimes you just need a cute romance to read and unwind. Millie and Jameson are very cute and I enjoyed reading about them:)

I really liked this. I really liked Jameson and Millie and I loved the relationships that we got to learn about outside of the romance

Millie has been looking after her younger sister since their dad passed. Things are tough, but they’re getting there. At the start of our story the girls are about start a new chapter. Millie has a job as a librarian and they are renting their own home. What they hadn’t banked on was the very good looking next door neighbour!
From the outset the sparks fly between Millie and Jameson. They obviously like one another but are reluctant to take the step beyond friendship.
The book follows them as they settle into life next door, deal with the day-to-day events each has come up and wait for them to admit their feelings. It’s cute, although far too much time is spent with them avoiding one another. It was like watching kids rather than adults, but it was an entertaining enough way to pass a couple of hours.
