God I loved this book. Favorite Character was definitely Sebastian.
I don't often read books involving the mafia or fighting but this had a good mix of both. I HATED the FMC's mom and boss, though. I can't wait for book 2 to come out. I will probably continue to be emotionally hurt by Dean though. Even though he's pretty incredible.

If I am correct this is a new author, and she definitely hit it out of the park!

I was just too bored. I got to page 92  and there was still over 600 pages left I couldn’t do it.

veeery long book but the good thing is that after every chapter i have to know what happens next. took me less than a day to finish it!

the main character lily is written well. throughout the book, i was remembering how i have met or know girls similar to her; hard to say no and wants to please anyone, scared to complain. i hope my girls will get out of that mindset.

i just wish lily realized her friend is in an abusive relationship a little sooner... it was very clear from the start.

all in all, i enjoyed reading the wallflower. made me giggle maybe once, twice... maybe ten times.

Want to see this book turned into a movie! Loved the romance and the characters. And the ending!

I enjoyed the atmosphere, tension, and slow burn aspects of this book. It’s well developed with a good plot and just the right amount of spice. However, that cliff hanger was totally unnecessary.

You do have to watch those TW, but outside of that, it's just cute. How could a book about underground fighting be cute? Well, it just is. It's also the slowest burn in history. The premise is kind of silly but no one reads romance books thinking it'll be Lord of the Rings.

The bad points ...
SpoilerFelt like the MFC had no real development. She just kind of floats through life letting things happen to her. There's sheltered and then there's whatever is going on with her. Felt like she was neurodiverent but the author didn't want to say that.

There's a whole lot of deus ex machina in the last two fights and it was frustrating.

The book needs better editing, but it wasn't so bad that it knocked me out of reading it. I hope the next book is a little neater. I mean, that cliffhanger? I'm sure I'll pick up the 2nd one just to see what happens.

4.5⭐️ I really did not think I would enjoy this book and almost skipped reading it. I am so glad that I didn’t! I loved everything about this book and can’t wait for the next one…there has to be a next one lol!
