I had high hopes for this based on the last Colleen Hoover book I read which was much more in the thriller genre. This one was more of a romance and I didn’t have the patience for it, I just wanted to get back to the plot. It was an easy read and bounced between two perspectives, so I got into a nice routine of reading two chapters before bed every night, one of each character. I’d say this is a good beach read, but isn’t going to change your life in any way.

I didn’t expect the way I felt after finishing the story to coincide with how I felt after reading it a year ago. I still stand by these 5 stars, and I still wish I could give it a 6th.

Wow. Just wow.

I have heard a lot of great things about this book, and honestly, they lived up to the hype. Of course some aspects were a little cheesy as all romantic novels can be, but overall it was keeping me at the edge of the page the whole time. I finished this book in a day!

The spicy scenes were not overwhelming, which was nice. I think that it added to the story line rather than just being added in for the sake of including them.

I would truly love a sequel to this book!

This was fine. Just fine.

I felt irritated reading Miles chapters. The writing style just didn’t suit my taste

Tate should’ve suggested Miles get a therapist.

The romance just seemed strange and strictly physical to me. Wasn’t much of a romance/love. It was an average read. There was not much character development.
