I was scared to read this… but it wasn’t has bad has I made it to be in my head… it’s obviously dark… but Ryat is an asshole but I like him. The kink in this are really heavy but well done.

I’m very surprise of how much I loved this.

Had to read for the BookTok hype. I have absolutely read better but this was entertaining and I did find myself reading through it quickly. This is a dark romance, and I found myself cringing at a lot. Some of the story lines were difficult to keep up with, but overall it had a good theme and kept me engaged.

Glaube das Adjektiv wild beschreibt dieses Buch sehr gut 😂 

In dem Buch geht es um Blake und Ryat. Beide kommen aus sehr reichen und mächtigen Familien und studieren an der Barrington University. Da enden dann auch schon die Gemeinsamkeiten. Blake lebt ein eher unscheinbares Leben, wohingegen Ryat Teil einer geheimen Society ist. Die Lords sind mächtig und skrupellos und um sich als würdiges Mitglied zu erweisen, müssen die jungen Lords während ihrer Zeit an der Barrington Aufträge ausführen. Aufträge, die eher fragwürdigerer Natur sind. Für ihre Aufopferung bekommt jeder Lord für sein letztes Jahr an der Uni eine Chosen one. Eine Frau die dem Lord gehört, bis er quasi keine Lust mehr hat 🫡 Und wie der Zufall es will, bekommt Ryat Blake zugeteilt. Problem: Sie weiß noch nicht so viel von den Lords, weiß auch generell noch nicht so viel 😬 und hat einen festen Freund

. Doch Ryat nimmt seine Aufgabe sehr ernst und damit beginnt ne ganz wilde Reise.

Es ist ein DR Buch, also muss ich ja wohl nicht mehr erklären, dass man die TW lesen sollte und halt ab und zu fragwürdige und kuriose Dinge passieren. Auch the Ritual ist hier keine Ausnahme und holy war dieses Buch spicy😂 🌶️ also gerade zu Beginn wird da nicht lange gefackelt und gerade da, wo Ryat und Blake halt noch nicht so die Bindung haben, hätte ich mir echt gewünscht dass mal mehr gesprochen und weniger gebum*t wird 😂✨ aber ansonsten fand ich es mega. Es ist einfach so viel passiert, man hätte auch 3 Bücher daraus machen können. Ich fand die Storyline rund um die Lords echt spannend, weil halt nochmal zusätzlich wer seine Finger im Spiel hat. Die Chemie zwischen Ryat und Blake auch einfach bombe. Er ist halt einfach ein DR Book Boyfriend wie er im Buche steht 😂 hot af, smart, berechnend, possessive und einfach ein bisschen sehr nice (gibt shadow daddy vibes) ✨🙌🏻 

Es war teilweise wirklich ein absoluter Fiebertraum und definitiv nix für den DR-Einstieg, aber mich hat es super unterhalten. Ich habe gelacht, mitgefiebert und mitgelitten. Richtig gut 💪🏻🌶️
