This is a new-to-me author, and I got the book from a giveaway. It's a short read, but I have to say I was totally charmed (heh). This is an adorable piece of fluffiness, and I thought the setting, an international program for studying sign languages, was interesting without feeling gimmicky - it was an organic, realistic part of the story. I will definitely be looking for more stories by this author!

As a person who is studying ASL it was interesting to see an author try to include such a lyrical and visual language into the narrative of a written story. I enjoyed the characters and their relationship though it didn't feel like a fully developed plot.
