Here's the thing about Susan Mallery books, I think she's a good writer, last year's book was great..The Vineyard at Painted Moon.. Since then she's gone in a direction I don't like.. I'll start with positive firsts.
+ I loved the Cover, It's a really simple, but cute and something you want to read in the summer months to come.

Okay, here's what I didn't care for.
- I read allot, and I just read this 3 days ago, and I don't remember much of the story. It's very predictable.
- Susan Mallery has become vulgar, in her last book called The Summer Getaway, I think I wrote that it was one of the most sexual books i've ever read and I'm no prude, This was just as bad.. the first words in this book was, I want more Sex... this book was full of sex and sexual slang.. I don't know if Susan herself is unhappy herself or is trying something new... I won't be buying anymore of her books, I'll get them from libby.

I think I found a new author when I want a feel good story that has some meat to it.
Everbody ended up how I thought they would....

Loved the characters and the storylines. The swearing and sex talk didn’t bother me like it did others. The book felt long at times but once I got into it, I flew through the rest.

Couldn’t finish, so crass and horrible characters. I don’t know what happened to Susan Mallery, because I used to read all her books, but her novels now have just become so disgusting

I’m a cynical old woman who has read many books so I did know early on which characters were going to pair up. That having been said, I enjoyed all of the characters, their relationships, and their outcomes.

Rounded up because I didn't see one of the romances going the way it did. Plus, I thought the counseling and disability were well handled.

Three women go together to lease a store combining a bakery, bookshop and gift store. The bookstore owner was emotionally abused as a child and in her first marriage. The baker's brother was badly injured as a boy, and she can't understand why her boyfriend won't commit to marriage. The gift store owner divorced three years ago and is good friends with her ex, but finally takes the step to start dating again.

Ugh, this book was so mediocre, Ashley and Bree were the most annoying characters I have read about. Seriously their whining and co-dependent personalities drove me crazy. Halfway through the book I wanted to stop listening. I guess I maybe am over the romance novels. To me this just made the women look weak that they couldn’t be happy without men in their life. The sex scenes seemed unnecessary in the plot thrown in to try and make it more exciting. They didn’t even help. The ending was laughable everything tied up in a neat little bow. Can I get back the hours I wasted listening?

Very repetitive, some of the problems feel like we’re beating the dead horse with how much they’re brought up and explained

Almost a 4.
Sometimes it was charming.
Sometimes it was 3 whiney girls.
Overall I liked it.
