I love all books by this author so it’s no surprise that I loved this one too! I really enjoyed all three women who are so close even though they are wildly different. Also, EVERYONE DESERVES LOVE!!!! Also also, THERAPY BABY!!!

I really enjoyed Ashley and Seth’s way of trying to decide on marriage or not getting married. I thought they were acting responsible and adult about it. I was soooo happy to see Ashley find love with Dave in the end. I had a feeling they would get together.

Mikki and her ex - the way they got along was refreshing. I wish I could get along with my ex like that. I was glad to see Mikki moving on and finding love again. Along with staying friends with her ex.

Now Bree infuriated me. I was so over her “I’ve been hurt by one guy so I can’t trust anyone EVER again” attitude that at times I wanted to throw my phone at her. I was soooooo happy when she finally went to therapy! Plus in the end she got the guy, Harding! I just wish more men were like him. Then this world would be a much nicer place to live in.

I'm rating this one 3.5 stars/rounding up to 4.

An emotional ride from start to finish. Your heart will break right along with Bree, Ashley, and Mikki...and then be mended. I enjoyed Mikki the most. I did find some parts of the story frustrating because it felt like the story just wasn't moving forward quickly enough. I did want to see the story through to the conclusion. I appreciated the friendship among the women. The book wrapped up nicely. This was my first Susan Mallery read and I would read more from her.

I purchased this book to read for the Brenda Novak book club, and my honest review is not influenced in any way.
