Има едни такива герои, за които хем съм благодарна, че съществуват единствено в измислени светове, хем ми се иска да са реални, за да мога да ги шамаря, шамаря, шамаря… докато спрат да тровят всичко около себе си.

Ей толкова високо се издигна Суе Янг в личната ми класация на Злодеите. И то само за две от общо пет книги. Не очаквах някой, който едва се споменава в предишния роман да сътвори такава касапница, нито пък да го направи по толкова подъл и жесток начин, отваряйки рани в сърцата, а не в телата на героите.

Втората част се завърта около вече споменатата преди история на Сяо Сичен и Сонг Лан, за да проследи продължението ѝ и да разкрие намесата на Суе Янг в новонастъпилия хаос. Тук всичко е много по-емоционално, може би защото героите вече са познати. Уей Усиан и Лан Уангджи продължават да следват нишката, която се оказва по-заплетена, отколкото изглеждаше в началото.


п.п.: Сяо Жан е най- перфектният Уей Усиан, който изобщо би могъл да съществува.

The second novel in the "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation" series started where the first one left off, with Wei Ying witnessing A-Qing's memories through 'Empathy'.
The continuation of the plot felt a little stretched out, with paragraphs of descriptions and 'side story', which seems to be a running theme with MXTX as a writer. However, it cemented the characterization of Xue Yang, immensely, and added more weight to the fates of everyone involved in the mess he created.
The jumps bnetween present time and memory are less confusing compared to the first novel. They flow more easily with the narration this time around and the added context surrounding Wei Ying and Lan Zhan, in particular, is great. Both are still absolute idiots in love, but it's all slowly, very slowly coming together.

Overall, a great read, minus points for the description paragraphs, though.
