"New Moon Rising" by Walt Trizna has a really good storyline, although I must say I have never read another book where I had the feeling that the author was rushing to get the story done.
The Pacific Ocean has a ring of fault lines and volcanos that form a ring from continent to continent and it's gonna blow! This is the story of that event and how this ring of fire blows over an 800 mile area of the Pacific Ocean and the Hawaiian Islands into space to become a new orbiting moon with an atmosphere and the capability of sustaining life. The unique talents of the author lend such a brevity to the characters life altering events, that much of the story feels left out. I enjoyed the story but I wish it was told by an author with a bit more detail effusiveness.
