This is my second novel by Iris Murdoch after The Sea, the Sea, and it blew my mind again. I still have trouble deciphering the meaning behind the plots, but it's such an enjoyable read. 
I will definitely be reading more of her books.

I've been tricked and I don't even know where it happened. Am I myself a mere fiction of Bradley Pearson, does emotion evoke fiction, always? Every single character is relatable, tragic and ridiculous, it's perfect.
I'm just so confused, this sorcery makes me wonder if I've ever read a book before. Iris, what is this?
