Very nice combination of drama, noir crime novel and...tango! Sad story, over the top, very Sin City-esque in the badassery of the main hero. The art was interesting, though at times, some of the shots were a bit lacking in clarity, but I think this was intentionally made to suggest memories, lies and secrets. I enjoyed this short story, and I am glad they kept it as a limited collection, cos not everything needs to be a series.

Disclosure: I received this free from Netgalley

I wanted to like this much more than I did. I didn't really like any of the characters all that much as each one just felt shallow and basically only invested in themselves for various reasons. The flash backs and art style also threw me quite a bite especially with the 'bad guys' or violent scenes when it often just became confusing to read. It was okay but really wasn't for me.
