I loved how this book was put together with all of the unexpected turns. It kept me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I highly recommend this book series to everyone who love fantasy and romances.

The storyline was okay, but I'm very happy with the ending. It had a touch of ambiguity, but you still get an ending and a look into the characters' lives after the crazy battle. I was hoping for a happy ending, and the author actually giving us one was a great way to end the series.

Endure started right after Entice where Zara and friends are trying to stop Frank and his pixies from destroying Bedford and the rest of the world.

The book is REALLY action packed and nonstop full of suspense and emotion, and wraps up the series brilliantly. It is amazing to see the characters change and grow throughout the books, especially Zara who in the first book said she would not be violent even to those who would hurt her, to in this book her defending her loved ones no matter what. Also she finally accepts her who she is and is comfortable in her own skin.

Spoiler The one annoying thing about this book (and I know most of you will disagree) is that she chooses Astley, throughout the series it’s all about Nick and Zara whether accepting their kind of star-crossed romance or Zara in Entice willing to do anything to rescue Nick from Valhalla and then in this book them just being ok being friends and it just did not seem realistic as I thought she was destined to be with Nick and best friends with Astley as I only got a friend vibe between Zara and Astley throughout the first three books and the romance felt forced and unnatural.

It is fully of twists and turns and keeps on making you guess who the good guys are and who are not. Plus I love the secondary characters especially Issie who is so cute and I just want to give her a hug and Betty who is the coolest grandmother ever!

Endure is a fantastic book and would recommend the book to people who have people who have read the first 3 book and the series to anyone YA paranormal romance you MUST read these books NOW.

So Glad I Stayed With This Series

In the last book I'll admit I was frustrated with Zara. I felt like she was playing Astley and putting herself at risk unnecessarily. The thing is, though, even during that time I never stopped loving this character. She's spunky and fearless...funny too. Endure was so worth it. My only complaint is that her story is over. now I'll be in "book mourning" once more. Awesome series!

I loved this series until the last book, then all of a sudden it felt like it wasn't the same. I disappointed with how the end of the book went in that I always thought it should have a more dramatic conclusion seeing as how the journey to the end was so long and brought out. I also felt like the last book just got tired and ended. The other three books were amazing though and I still recommend you at least try the series yourself.

Originally reviewed on my blog: SIK Book Reviews

Story/Plot: First of all, as a comment to the misleading synopsis quoted above...it says that there is "no-holds-barred romance" and "utterly satisfying romantic finale." Well, I do not agree with this. There is VERY LITTLE romance in any of this series. There are a couple of kisses and a little bit of lovey-dovey talk. But that's about it. It is very PG, in my opinion. So, this synopsis is misleading (and disappointing for all you romantics out there). Other than that, the story was about the same as the other books in the series. Not very satisfying, but decent enough I suppose.

Characters: Zara has changed since the first book of the series. She is stronger (not just physically) and angrier, which is a nice change in my opinion. She is more capable of standing up for herself in certain situations. I found Nick to be a disappointing character in this book and I didn't feel he had much of a presence...and neither did Devyn now that I think about it. Astley and Issie seem the same and are in the book often.

Writing: The writing is unsatisfactory again. I feel like a broken record! Now that I'm finished with this series (finally!) I can't wait to find a mature writer!

Uniqueness/Creativity: There are some aspects of this book that were very creative and I was impressed, such as the visions of Hel (the place) and Hel (the person).

Overall: Well, I am soooo glad that I am finished with this series. Not that it was horrible or anything, it was decent...but I've had enough! I find myself craving another fascinatingly captivating book like The Hunger Games and/or Divergent. I love the cover of this book, it is very eye-catching (see what I did there?)!
As for the whole series...each book is about 200 pages long, so I feel that there was no need for 4 books, except for a money grab. They could have easily made it into 3 books, or even 2 longer books.

The ending seemed a little bit abrupt and I'm not really sure of the point of the 4 months later bit as it didn't add anything new.
