I very much enjoyed this.
So much more than Guards! Guards! - which I was only lukewarm about.

I found moments of tender, thoughtful & deep feeling to be very unlikely to be find in a Discworld novel- but it felt genuine all the same.

Oh but I was nervous.
I know now that this series isn’t afraid to hurt me. Even if it does hurt so good. 🥹

Heh. This was great. Not sold on a full five stars yet, but perhaps after I've considered it a while. I love Carrot. I love the Night's Watch. I just love these books.

A Discworld murder mystery! This was so fun and of course very clever and funny as always. The satire is particularly on point with this one and I feel like I could really go in depth on this if I wanted to, but right now I don't haha. But it's one of the things I love about the Discworld: there are so many layers and so many ways to enjoy them and I anticipate many rereads throughout my life and I will probably always catch something new.
