 Angua my beloved...
Even though this is the second book in the City Watch series, to me this is the real beginning of the Watch as it grows.
The final twist of the plot came a bit out of nowhere for me, but maybe I just missed the exact details - I started a new jigsaw game while reading the audiobook and occasionally got distracted by the new rules.
Angua is my fav, as she always has been, and the voice the narrator gave her was hilarious.

A continuation of Guards Guards. 

Carrot really shines in this story.

There's a lot of humor to the story, yet I wonder what was the point?

Perhaps that a politician will always be better than the position of a King.

Guns drive people to kill and without it murders would be less?

There's a bit of politics in Pratchetts writings. I'm fond of his progressive policy of gender and racial equality.

This was delightful! I really enjoyed Carrot's growth through this one, he's becoming a very interesting character to me. And I loved Vimes, as always. Can't wait for the Night Watch's next adventure!
