Little mermaid unhinged

A re told of the little mermaid done so well. The villan being the "good" guy is so well written. The twists and turns and lies between characters keep you on your toes. This series is so well done.

Okay so I’m equal parts glad and sad this the last book in this series. Glad because this was a pretty creative way to tell this story and I loved the Easter eggs. It had me wanting to watch the little mermaid movie so I could make a list of what to look for. I’m sad because the smut was so minimal in this book. AND DELAYED. I opened this book for a reason and it was the longest build up of my freaking life. I still say her first was her best but this was a pretty decent finish!

Have you ever gone into something reluctantly because you know that once you experience it for the first time you'll never experience something like it again? Yes? Great then you know exactly how I was feeling when I read this book. Enzo and Venesa had me captivated. And don't get me started on the tropes. I was sat and well fed during this entire book. I couldn't decide if I wanted to read it quickly because of how good it was or hold on to it so I could really enjoy Venesa and Enzo's dynamic. Found a happy medium and finished it in 3 days lol. Either way it was a 5 star read for me and I cant complain!

I LOVED the entire Never After Series. It started as a book club read (Hooked) and spiraled into something I couldnt have predicted. There was something about Enzo that I loved and the way that he and Venesa see each other for their most authentic selves really had me swooning. I cant get over it!

Emily McIntire is one of my fav authors and I cant wait to read more of her work.

I enjoyed this a lot but what the hell was the last two chapters?! So unbelievably rushed I thought it was a dream sequence. We couldn't take more time to take down the main antagonists? Talk about anticlimactic...
