YELLOWFANG HATERS CAN GO AWAY. I loved this one just as much as Bluestar’s Prophecy and I didn’t think I would. Yellowfang is a grumpy fuck but I love her. SHES BEEN THROUGH A LOT arguably even more than Bluestar. When she had to give birth to her kits secretly and silently all alone in the woods and then two of them IMMEDIATELY DIED and the third one was fucking Brokenkit and she had to give him away immediately…damn. And then she said that everyone would think his name was Brokenkit because of his tail but it was really because IT BROKE HER HEART TO GIVE HIM AWAY AND NOT BE HIS MOTHER…DAMN. Girlie has been to the Dark Forest and back, lemme tell you. And then she gets driven from the clan that she loves by her own son after he murders her secret mate that she can’t be with because she was basically forced to be a medicine cat because of powers she had no control over…damn damn damn. I’m glad she got some peace in the end in ThunderClan, because she deserves better. Again, if Yellowfang has no fans, I’m dead.

it's a horror novel in disguise, a scary book about not being able to stop the future, and how fate is inevitable, it's very dark for a kid's book and I'm glad I didn't read this when I was younger.
