Wow just wow....... I’ve been left completely speechless by what I just finished reading. THIS. IS. A. MUST. READ!!!! I’ve never read anything like this. My emotions fluctuated so much while reading this story. This is a love story but in such a twisted way filled with revenge, anger and oh so many different things. This one definitely needs to be read without any spoilers so you can get the entire feel of the story.
Heath love for Catrina is so strong that it turns bitter. They were from different sides of the tracks but that didn’t stop their love. Their social and financial status was the beginning of the downfall of their relationship but their love for each other at times put all of that aside. At first I felt so heartbroken for Heath but as the story continued omg how I hated him. Heath from the beginning of the story is not the same at the end. You’ll understand once you start reading. Catrina was a complicated woman and as the story continues you’ll realize she isn’t what we all thought she was.
Then they were the secondary characters that made up the rest of the story and every piece of the puzzle starts falling into places. Characters that you will think are selfish you’ll realize towards the ending that they actually weren’t but blindly in love. Then another character you wonder how the hell is he in love with her and then you find out something about his background. These authors were GENIUSES!!! The setup of this entire story with all the different inputs of the characters will keep your heart beating fast wondering what in the hell is going to happen next and omg I can’t believe this. It was that damn good. The ending was exactly the closure that was needed and I loved it!!!!
One of the best stories I’ve read this year!!

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
I am in love with this story. A modern tale on a classic story. The story of the love between Catrina and Heath their decisions and how it paves the way for future generations.
Catrina's father takes in Heath as a child. Heath is the golden child, learning everything he could about the business. He intends to take over one day but before that can happen her father dies. His will was never changed and the only way for Catrina to gain access to her fortune is to marry Elliott. She has no love for Elliott but she can't walk away from the money even though she loves Heath with every fiber of her being. Their love is intense and strong. They are explosive when they come together. Their love is the type of love that is all consuming and will destroy them if they let it.
Heath loses the love of his life and is set on revenge. It's what drives him, pushes him for more. When he meets his long lost son and the daughter of his lost love and Elliott seventeen years later, he's still determined to make Elliott pay. Using Theo and Cat as pawns in his game of revenge.
I have never read Wuthering Heights, but I absolutely loved this version of love lost and the power of that to destroy you if you let it. I love that the story was told by Helen who was there for each generation. Very well done. A little taboo and I couldn't put it down!

I would actually say 3.5 stars. Honestly at the beginning I almost stopped reading, though! I disliked pretty much everyone in the book and was not captivated by the story. When it got to the second part about Cat and Harrison, however, I liked it much more and definitely became eager to see what was going to happen.

This book was interesting at times, annoying and confusing at other times.
Part 1-I liked Heath’s endless love and determination toward his h. She on the other hand was annoying and seemed shallow. The back and forth drama was aggravating.
Part 2-This was more entertaining and I really enjoyed their journey. Sweet moments and the love could be felt.
Lexi Evans and Logan Anare did a really nice job portraying these characters.

I love Wuthering Heights so I was completely intrigued by this story. I was excited to dive in. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this retelling. I loved the suspense and sexiness of the story. These are definitely not likeable characters and it is not a conventional story, but that is one of the things I love about it. I can't wait to see what these authors come up with next!

This was such an intense story. It was full of angst, and love, heartache, revenge and loss.
It was full of pain and grief.
It was also about love and hope and passion. It was about loving for every moment and not wasting it. It was brutal and beautiful and I was hooked from the start.

⭐️ 4 "Broken Heart" Stars ⭐️
Heath was a great first collaboration for authors K. Webster and Nikki Ash. This modern retelling of Wuthering Heights certainly had my emotions all over the place! As much as I enjoy this book, it was also so frustrating with infuriating flawed characters. I hated Catrina and how she treated Heath. Yes, he does despicable things when he’s broken and bitter from his love for her, but I felt the true cataclysm of all this hate and revenge path he takes comes from Catrina’s decision to marry for money. With her always playing with Heath’s feelings, I felt so bad for him and in the first part of the story I was constantly wanting to throw my kindle across the room.
The second part was definitely my favorite with the second generation of Lincolns and Crenshaws still haunted by Heath’s retaliation. He’s so much more difficult to love as a character in this part, because he’s still complotting against everyone’s happiness. But at the same time it’s so clear he’s completely broken! I loved Cat and Harrison’s romance so much! You easily see from this couple what true love is with sacrifices and devotion. It’s a stark parallel to Catrina and Heath’s that’s full of selfishness and manipulation.
The third generation of this amazing saga was so well introduced to the story too. From start to finish, the switch between past and present was compelling to read and a lesson of love for Emily!
The authors created with Heath a powerful story filled with lot of feelings! I laughed, I swooned, I raged, I cried over the obstacles these characters lived through! This is definitely a great family saga you need to experience for its multi-layered heroes and perspectives on love!

"My revenge has been in the shadow of my lover. Lurking and waiting. Ever-present. A moving, throbbing entity just waiting to be fully unleashed. Time to be free, my beast of hate. Go forward and cause massive destruction in every single one of their lives."
Since Wuthering Heights is one of my all-time favorite classic reads, and because Emily Brontë is a personal hero of mine, I knew exactly what to expect going into this. And thank God for that, because this isn't a story where love triumphs over all. No, this is a story about how love turns into obsession, how obsession can morph into hate, and then how that hate can affect generations to come.
It's sad that love could breed so much hate.
This story is broken down into three parts: The convoluted story of Heath, Catrina, Elliot and Isabel, the tale of Harrison, Cat, and Theo, and the (short) story of Emily and Finn. I'll just put it out there that the middle generation has the best love story, but it's impossible to forget that it happens in the shadow of Heath and Catrina's all-encompassing love. Heath may be a sexy beast, but he's not a good person. That being said, Catrina might be even worse. I never doubted that Heath loved her more than anything, but I definitely doubted Catrina's ability to love him back in the same way. As a result, even though Heath becomes more and more deplorable, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him at times. Up until part two, I was cheering for him, but that changed quickly. And why wouldn't it? This is a story about how love can turn into poison. At one time, Heath loved purely, but the world bastardized it. His sin was trying to make innocent characters suffer. The ones that were responsible for that bastardization, well, I didn't blame him in the slightest for what he did. But when he passed that hatred onto the unknowing next generation? Yeah, he lost my vote then. Still, though... I understood him. I understood his life fueled by bitterness and revenge just as I did when he was fueled by love and obsession. Every story needs a villain, and while Heath may have been it, I couldn't help but think of how things could've been different had he loved someone worthy.
“My revenge was never with you. It was always for you. I never wanted to ruin you. Just wanted to ruin the world around you so we were the only two left standing. The only two who mattered.”
I don't want to say much more because this story is best experienced if you go in blind. Just be aware, while it's not pitch-black or anything, the initial characters are not very likable. If you can't handle this, hang in there, because just when you think everything has gone to shit, here comes a love worth cheering for. The cycle is finally broken and a few characters earn their redemption. And maybe, just maybe, the two that started it all will finally reunite where they always belonged...

Let me tell you a love story of greed a love so toxic and destroying between Catrina and the 2 men who loved her so much that they couldn't see how she would never be satisfied with anything they did for her, because it would never be enough. Heath was young when her father saved him from the street's brought him to his house and raised him with his other two children Catrina and Harrison while they were young Heath fell deeply in love with her and she did with him she was his everything, but thing's have a way of changing as you get older and promises made are like leaves in the fall always changing and never to be the same again. Catrina meets Elliott and he falls in love with her she find's out she's to marry him and soon poor Heath is left in the cold because he knows he has no money he can't offer her anything, but his love and even that's not enough. I so wanted to snatch Catrina bald headed so many times for how she acted and treated those men and for them to be so blind ugh it was unbelievable. That's all I'm saying you'll just have to get it and read it and find out for yourself just how damn good this book is. I wish I could give this book more than 5 star's. Once I started it I didn't want to put it down the whole time. I would definitely recommend reading this book it was so freaking good. Well done ladies well done I absolutely would love to read more from them.

Heath and Catrina, what a tragic story, with some happiness in the end.
This story reminded me of the phrases the sins of our father, and repeating the mistakes made.
WOW! It was an emotional story that kept me on my toes, but I pushed to read this as fast as I could, but also I wanted to savor the story and really feel it.
I love K. Webster's books, and this is a new favorite for me. Heath touches me deep inside, I can feel his love, his grief and his anger and resentment.
5 beautiful stars!
