Two stars really, but honorary star because I love Virgin River so much...

I didn't really like any of the women in this one, and the one complaint I have about Virgin River is that sometimes these books lack a little focus. We had way too much going on in this one for me to be really invested, and I wanted to be. The very best of this book occurred during the births. Both were very wonderful and I sort of feel cheated that I had to read about these other crazy chicks instead of Brie and Paige. I miss those gals.

I'm DONE WITH VIRGIN RIVER. There is romance and then there is written porn. In my opinion these books are becoming more graphic in their descriptions of intimacy and I find it such a shame bc the storylines are so good. Robyn, maybe true rest of the world doesn't mind having Penthouse Forum sprinkled into these stories, but I do and really, WHY couldn't you tell these stories in a more tasteful way? I'm not a prude in any way but why ruin such sweet stories and such great characters with such graphic descriptions of sex? Not necessary. At all.

What can I say about this book. First, I’ve loved the Virgin River series so far, BUT this book felt forced. There were too many relationships started, too many quickly started and ended stories, and too many calling the women “baby” for my liking. Here’s hoping the next book is less irritating.

Spolier.......

I absolutely adore this series, this book would have definitely got five stars from me, but I didn't like the first 40%. Paul's mix up with Terri didn't do it for me at all, hated that he could have got another woman pregnant. I just wanted him to get his act together and tell Vanni how he felt.

However, after 40% and Vanni and Paul had sorted everything I blooming well loved it. I love how this author keeps all the characters from previous books popping up and introducing new characters who we will get to know about in later books.

Jack and Mel I just want to read more about you guys too, I hope you keep cropping up in future books.

I kinda also want to take a break and read something completely different so I can savour these books but I'm afraid I'm completely 100% addicted to Virgin River and can't stop reading.

Off to read the next one.
