Loool. This book promised a lot and it gave a lot but delivered… quite awfully. Idk what adrienne or their editor was trying to go for but it felt quite self involved - in the carelessness of the formatting, in the inability to be concise omg. Useful nuggets in there for sure. You just have to dig.

Super inspiring and certain parts were surprisingly applicable to my daily life. Well written-- though the ideas are complex they're written in plain English so it feels accessible. A gentle but powerful approach to systemic change. This felt like a lot of deep breaths.
