Very clever and fun read! A strange-sounding premise as the story is told from the point of view of Ian who has found himself falling off the highest balcony of a high-rise apartment building.

Also, Ian happens to be a goldfish.

From Ian point of view, you get a snapshot of different people's lives whose only connection is that they live in the same building. Slowly these lives start to interconnect further in the most clever ways. And the writing is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this one. I liked how the story spanned the course of 30 minutes. The writing was excellent and I felt connected to every character. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

This was a quick and fun read - just a portrait of an apartment building and it's residents. Time was a big theme throughout as it all was happening within the same few moments. It felt light, nothing too deep (although it tried) and the characters were interesting.

Fishbowl is a very cute, quirky, a little sad, mostly thoughtful story about a bunch intersecting lives witnessed by an oblivious, falling fish. I liked it :)

Easy read. For book club. Kind of weird but funny. Not my usual kind of book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was easy to step yourself into each characters shoes. There were some things challenging societal norms and i loved that.
