I did not know what I was expecting when I went into this anthology and overall, I was pleased with what I read. I am a person who finds science fiction to be interesting and this felt more like old school sci-fi. The only real 'issues' with it I had were that the stories often times felt too short especially when it felt like things were getting going.

My favorite short stories from this anthology were "The transportee Agrees to the Terms, Quoth The Raven, Nevermore, and The Lies/Truth About Science Fiction .

The Transportee Agrees to the Terms follows an old woman who allows her eyes to be transported on a spaceship and used in a reality TV show to show people back on earth what was seen in distant galaxies.

Quoth The Raven Nevermore, is a Poe inspired tale about a talking raven that reveals truths about the world.

The Lies/Truth about Science Fiction is about an aspiring author who wants to revive science fiction as a genre in a world in which Science Fantasy books dominate instead.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I love Sci-Fi so when I was offered the chance to read this anthology I was happy to accept. I don't usually enjoy short stories as they tend to end rather abruptly and without closure. Not so with this one. I fully enjoyed each story and wasn't left frustrated when they ended.

This one has an old-school B&W feel to them, reminiscent of The Twilight Zone. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the story of a human attempting to remember how to drive a real car. That vision isn't too far off I think
