This was exactly the kind of easy-to-read, lighthearted book I needed to read to remind me why I like reading while trying to tackle a much more intricate, dense text.

This is a book about immense tragedy,  and it's hilarious. It made me really uncomfortable while being an absolute vacation.  No idea how Allie does it, and she does it well.

ðŸ“š I've so missed Brosh's ability to draw out the absurd in everyday, mundane situations.
📚 Her drawings are just as goofy and giggle-inducing as ever.
📚 She's also able to turn on a dime and transform a silly childhood anecdote into an exploration of mortality and love.
📚 Unfortunately, a lot of the chapters seemed to tail off with no real conclusions, I felt like a lot of them needed one more page to wrap up the thought.

I've been a fan of Allie Brosh since her Blogspot days, and I'm thrilled to see her come out with a new book, which continues to be funny, insightful, sad sometimes disturbing, and deeply personal and relatable. Her drawings have improved a lot, becoming more and more expressive and appealing. Her dog stories are my favorite. Overall, a great read that made me laugh out loud, and feel feelings I didn't know I had.
