Really transformed the way I look at fueling my body as an athlete (even just a recreational one).

I think this book would have actually done better in a movie format. I think the extreme athlete anecdotes are cool but can be less exciting to read a bunch in a row (I wasn’t really stopping much while reading). The specifics to improve your athletic abilities were my favorite and most of it is available for free on nomeatathlete.com. I will likely read Born to Run and watch Running for Good because of this book.

Lite hetsig för min smak, men informativ och med mycket forskning!

This book has some great info on being an athlete on a plant-based diet.  I did enjoy seeing some concrete examples of what professional athletes eat and when during the day.  But, I did get a little bored with the long descriptions of them peppered into the book.

Agree that it would have been nice to see more weekend warrior versions of the successes and meal-plans, especially for athletes with families and jobs outside the home.  Overall, some really great details and I'll probably come back to this to look up stuff in the future.
