From the start I found this to be a very gripping story and I was keen to see how it progressed. There were many twists and turns along the way, and although some parts felt quite repetitive, the story was very unique. I was disappointed by the ending as it switched from a thriller to a heartbreaking story which I felt was a somewhat odd addition in the story.

If I could rate this 100 stars I would! I was so emotionally invested in this story and I could not put it down. There are so many emotions, so many surprises, and just when you think you have it all figured out. .BOOM you don't. The ending made me cry so many happy tears!

The ending surprised me but not In a good way. This was a solid 3 stars until the last 80% when it went from a 'what really happened to her husband' thriller to absolutely heartbreaking.

This book is extremely predictable and although I hate this word, just dumb. The crazy names drove me nuts and the plot isn’t good. I also wasn’t a fan of the writing style.

I don’t understand why this book has such a high rating. It was ok, but it bugged me how unrealistic it was, especially the ending. I’m not sure why I always expect “fiction” to ring true but a little effort into making it seem plausible would be appreciated!

Repetitive, exhausting protagonist, and unbelievably far-fetched scenarios. My only reason for adding a half star was because the backdrop/theme of story was different with a different outcome.

Penny has a lot of dreams that were pushed to the side when she met and immediately fell in love with her husband, Ledger, then became pregnant with twins. Life was not easy living paycheck to paycheck, but their life was happy. Then came the accident that ripped Penny's life apart. Ledger's truck careened over the mountain. Even more devastating was the woman showing up on Penny's doorstep claiming that she was also Ledger's wife. Should Penny believe her? Why would Ledger have lied to her for five years? Has her whole relationship been built on deceit? How does she know what to believe as she struggles to come to grips with the death of her husband.
