I liked this way more than I expected to. Decent writing, an actual slow burn, very good banter, funny and of course good characters who are just as interesting on their own as they are together.

I was so hesitant to read this and put it off for so long but now I’m so mad I didn’t read it sooner. I freaking adored this book. The characters hooked me instantly, the banter was so cute and they both needed each other in a way that complimented each of them perfectly. So glad I decided to read this book now

A Deal with the Devil was a charming and playful romance in a lot of ways.

Hayes and Tali both have their own share of relationship issues that need to be worked out and I felt that by taking the possibility of romance out of the equation for them they were able to let their walls down and slowly became to care and trust each other.

I loved the small changes that you see in each of them as the story progresses as if they are unaware of how much the other is changing their life.

I was mad at Hayes for letting Tali leave without telling her how much he liked having her in his life. It was as if he had laid it all on her because of how scared he was about caring and letting someone in.

I cried when Tali left to go home and be the "competent" family member because she was giving up what she truly wanted out of obligation to family. I also understand why she felt she had to go home.

I hope that you enjoy this story as much as I did and I hope that there is more to come about Hayes and Tali.
