Such an interesting turn on life in the future. Can't wait to read on in the series. I couldn't put this down. :)

Great plotline with an average writing style. The concept of love being a disease is fantastic and the book has some very memorable scenes. I think the author does a great job of portraying how life would be if the government “cured” love in our society. 3.5/5 stars

Like it! ^^
Alex byl přesně jeden z těch správných sympaťáků, které bych někdy chtěla potkat. Lena byla taky v poho a konec mě prostě nutí k dalšímu dílu...

Changed from 4 to 3 stars
Saw the reviews basically saying its not a real dystopian novel or it overall didn't make sense. Valid, but I was honestly just reading it for a good time. I'm sure there's plot holes and what not, but it was a good way to pass time (I listened to the audiobook while at work). It's not amazing, but it also isn't horrible.

I originally read this when I was in (I think) Grade 10 and I absolutely loved it. I thought the concept was so cool! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10 years later, I read it again and while I still think the concept is cool, I didn't enjoy it at much as I once did. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought it was incredibly cheesy, the main character was insufferable and everything felt over the top. The love interest was a carbon copy of every other YA love interest. It was also too feelings-based and emotional for my taste. So much telling rather than showing!

I much preferred Before I Fall. (I reread it last year and still thought it was amazing).

I really enjoyed this book. Easy read that kept a great pace. I never lost interested or became confused. The story itself was wonderful, another dystopian thriller. I can't wait to read the next book in this series…
