This was a tough read. Hobson takes us inside the mind of a teenage boy who is in the foster system. He has experienced trauma, so we see his attempts to cope and to find himself outside of the trauma. It's thought-provoking.
Lots of TWs.

I have complicated feelings. This book was well written, and there were slices that were enjoyable and I really liked the diversity, but it was also really slow and hard to get into. I do a little bit better with plot driven books then character driven books when they are sadder and slower, so that was probably on me. Still a decently good read.
