Best of the series!

As much as I'd like to say I hated this book, and if you read it, you'll understand why and probably agree with me, I'd just be lying to say I hated much of anything about it. There were a few things I didn't care for, but I understood why they had to happen. Doesn't mean I didn't shed a couple tears over them though. Okay, a little more than a couple. *sniff-sniff* Anyway, if you've read the first nine books, you want to read this last one for sure! Non-stop action from start to finish. Well worth the time!!

It says started on the 6th but I really started it on the 10th when I could get a quiet moment to read...

I knew I needed to focus on this and what a relief!!!

The losses in this book are painful but because I care about the character not that I am annoyed they died. (I mean I am but not the point). This book marks a really bitter sweet ending to a series I have read over a few years although mainly this year I think.

Rylee is amazing. She is gutty, brash and kick ass. I really like the way her character has come from being hard to being caring too. She is the focus of these books but becomes a sharing light.
Pamela is sweet and spunky. I wish I could meet her in R/L!
Liam is the sexy strong male Rylee needed in this battle, he is a leader of the pack and thus his role is extremely crucial. I love how even though with what happened at the end of 2(?) books ago he is still protecting Rylee.
I love the other characters but I believe these are the 3 main ones (aside from Lark but she gets her own series). I also love Alex probably my fave as he was like the adorable pet (I feel almost bad saying that).
Gaah! I will be finishing the Elemental series and then going to the series where it wraps everything up properly!

Fantastic series. Emotional roller coaster the last hour of reading.

This series engaged all of my senses and my imagination. I love to be sucked into a book!
I fell in love with Rylee in the first book. If I could be Rylee when I grow up, I would !! The journey through her world has been a phenomenal one. Each new character was developed in a clear and beautiful way that made it easy to visualize them even when their motives were unclear. Rylee is a warrior who loves with every bit of herself. She finds the good in others when they have been pushed aside and given up on. Her "family" is amazing and each one is interesting in their own right. I hate that this series is ending but hold out hope that these characters will pop up in other books in the future (pretty please!!).
I suppose i should comment on this book instead of the series as a whole.
Rylee knows what it is going to take to defeat Orion. She is prepared to sacrifice everything for her family. She has always followed her heart and refused to "plan" anything, much to the dismay of Liam. This book is fast paced with a lot of information about what is expected of Rylee. Characters old and new assist her in her preparations and battles.
I didn't want to start reading because I knew the end was coming and there is always some sadness at the end. I will re-read this series because I love them all so much!!

I can't believe I finished this series.....but I did. I think I enjoyed some of the ideas, just got really bogged down in the cheesy execution.

What a journey the Rylee Adamson series has been. We have watched Rylee grow into a powerful woman, gain allies, lose friends and learn to use her powers to save the world. BLOOD OF LOST finishes off the series with a ton of emotion, action and an ending that left my heart smiling.

I never find it easy to write a review on the last book in a series. I know it's important not to spoil anything, so I will keep this review kinda basic. Rylee definitely isn't the woman we first met in PRICELESS. She has overcome many obstacles in her life and has sacrificed even more, but she grew into so much more than I'm sure she ever imagined she would be. There is some love triangle type stuff going on in BLOOD OF THE LOST, but I enjoyed how it played out. I really enjoyed all the parts in BLOOD OF THE LOST with the babies. All the love for them shined through and Rylee's actions at the end really show what a great person she is and how much love she has to share.

For those that have also been following Mayer's Elemental series, it was a bit weird seeing and reading about Lark in BLOOD OF THE LOST. A lot has happened in the many years spanning the timelines from where Larks series is currently and where BLOOD OF THE LOST takes place and this book just kept adding questions to the many questions I already had for the Elemental series.

There is of course an epic battle in BLOOD OF THE LOST. People are lost, lives are changed and although I think some people will be sad, I don't think anyone will be disappointed at how everything happened. I have truly enjoyed the Rylee Adamson series and I'm sad to see it end, but I look forward to seeing what Mayer comes up with next.

a thrilling read that answered most things left unanswered. except for one huge thing at the end. But I don't want to put any spoilers here
adventurous emotional sad tense fast-paced

Great finale

Exactly what you would want from the ending of a series, makes you laugh, breaks your heart and ties up all the loose ends.

Every book in this series leads to the next. I love the growth and change in the characters. These stories are great. I just keep reading and reading
