*DNF 90%
In this review, I will be talking about the entire series. My friend and I read this series at the same time together and if it wasn't for that I would have DNFed it during the first book but I wanted to give it a chance. I really don't understand all the hype with the book. I disliked the writing style of this book. The whole series just made absolutely no sense to me like wtf even happened in these 4 books. There were like 15 plots happening at the same time and I just didn't understand anything from the Latin trees to the sleeping king to Blue's true love dying when her true love kissed her. My friend told me the ending of the book so I DNFed it as soon as I found out the stupid ending. I just don't understand the entire book at all. The only character that I liked was Gansey but that's the only positive I have about the book series. This series was not for me and not something I would recommend.

- Recommend?! = Absolutely not, Probably my least favorite series I have ever read
- Fantasy/YA
- Physical, Audiobook

”it ended tonight, because gansey had said it ended tonight, and he had meant it.”

i did it? i finished it?
this series was really the ultimate enemies-to-lovers for me. i didn’t mesh well with the first book, the second i enjoyed more by a considerable margin, the third was where my love began to solidify. though this is where i really understood what everyone else loved so much about this series.
i wish there was more. i wish i could put these characters in my heart physically and carry them along with me. i wish they could carry me to the next.
