A creepy collection of some classic horror stories in graphic form. I was a little surprised that the collection includes many authors that don't usually get much attention, and even the stories from the well known aren't the typically chosen works, but rather some more obscure choices.

This made the work a lot more satisfying to me. I enjoyed the artwork and how the words on the page were transformed into a graphic story, yet still gave the same atmosphere as the original stories. A couple sent shivers down my spine as I read them in front of the fire surrounded by darkness.

As I went to bed the lingering image of a giant boar slavering over me as I slept crept into my mind...

Good stories, very true to the source material, though so true that many of them had abrupt endings as they often had in that time. I saw a ghost, that was that, no explanation is reached or man unmasked. I enjoy that aspect of these stories, but it's not for everyone.
