A good ending to the series. I like the direction they took to finish the series. I am partial to the why choose trope so I wasn't thrilled with how it ended. However, Elena got one life time to spend with Stefan, so I'm glad she got another one to spend with Damon.
Tumultuous ending to the series! Old characters have returned and the new will be apparent upon Elena’s last journey into her past, saying goodbye to her present, and stepping into an entirely new future. That Elena was dying, but how exactly will she manage to live again, and be with who she was meant to be. Even with Stefan dead in her present, the question still remains, right to the end. Stefan or Damon? You’ll have to find out I guess.

Okay, so this series didn't end on a completely disappointing note. I do find it ridiculous how everyone keeps dying and resurrecting, and how Elena was able to "fix" everyone and everything by going back to the past and rewriting history - didn't she basically create an alternate timeline when she changed so many things?
At least, even if Stefan is back to being alive (or never ended up dying, I supposed), Elena still ends up with Damon. That's something, I guess.

I'm surprised I liked this as much as I did. I expected to hate it.
I am extremely disappointed with what this series became. I hate to say it, but it has been dragged out way to much and I definitely haven't continued reading the books for their quality. The series greatly declined when LJ Smith stopped writing them. The ending also disappointed me greatly considering everything all the characters have went through and how they had grown as friends because of that. I sure hope this is the end, I don't think it can be dragged out much longer.

Well it’s over. I did enjoy this book at first but I think mainly cause it had a bunch of callbacks to the first book in the series.
I think for my most part I was left confused. Confused with some of the choices Elena makes in this book based off her past feelings/actions. But also confused by the choice to end the series the way that it did
It feels like all the events of the last 12 books were completely erased by this ending. All the events that molded our favorite characters throughout the series just didn’t happen. I’m glad everyone ended up happy & successful but I’m not sure how I feel about this ending

Aquí valió todo pero no de buena manera. Para que haces 13 libros si al final todo no llega a existir. "Esto no es fin, es canon" y así me la pase diciéndome mientras leía.
No me gusto, arruinaron la personalidad de Elena en muchas partes porque esta mujer es vanidosa por más que haya madurado eso la hace simplemente Elena y aquí me la ponen como una chica que no le importa esas cosas de vanidad es odioso leerlo.
Lo rescatable fue la química Delena, pude notar un poquito ese coqueteo de ambos aunque no la intensidad que se leía antes.
Del resto de personajes aparte nuestros tres protas siento que ni valen mencionarlos porque los siento falsos e incluso Katherine la arruinaron en su locura y obsesión.
El romance apesto, el como Elena decide uno de los dos Salvatore apesto porque esta mujer no cambia de mentalidad hasta que se termina el tiempo de cambiar el pasado y pum en el futuro escoge al otro hermano. Sin importar que fuera mi favorito esto me sonó ha tonto, apresurado e irreal. Patético final, ya llore lágrimas de sangre por los anteriores ya no me queda nada más que decir bye bye, me quedo con el final de la serie o el del libro 7. Aunque en este me duela.

Oh my god, the feels! I found that the way this book evolved was a very appropriate end of the series, and I can say that I was almost disappointed with the end until the last chapter! So happy that Elena and Damon found each other again in an alternate future!
