 I binged this in three days but it made me, um, really mad. The final 1/3 or so was violent in a way that truly repulsed me. I am struggling to articulate my thoughts, I'm sure other unfavorable reviewers have already said it better than I could.

Finalmente un libro distopico scritto come - in questo caso - Madre comanda. L’ idea di un nuovo grande potere che permette una ribellione femminile talmente grande da rivoluzionare la specie umana, in positivo o in negativo che sia, è qualcosa di potente e di grande effetto sul lettore.
Tutto si riduce al fatto che la violenza, di base, non conosce genere. Per quanto inizialmente giustificata dopo millenni di subordinazione, il mondo comincia a scoprire come le donne possano finalmente riprendere il loro posto nella società. E come in ogni libro distopico, questo posto finisce a  divenire il trono di una tirannia. 

bello il finale senza la vera battaglia, anche se avrei preferito leggere davvero ciò che sarebbe accaduto

This is a book I find hard to rate and review because it invokes so much thought about really important things around gender identity, society and power structures. However, it does so by forcing you to confront a lot of uncomfortable events. You'll be thinking about power for a long time after finishing it. This book is worth the read, but it doesn't hold back.
